Jakarta, August 21th 2024 – PT Humpuss Maritim Internasional Tbk. (HUMI) conducted its 8th In-House Training (IHT) with the topic of 5R Management, IBPR (HIRADC) Identification, and Workplace Environment, presented by PT Intan Cahaya Mandiri (PJK3) in Jakarta (21/8). The discussion focused on introducing 5R in the workplace and fatigue management, hazard identification, and risk opportunity, to implement 5R: Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain in the office environment.
The event was opened by HUMI Director Dedi Hudayana, who expressed appreciation to the participants for their strong desire to continue learning and understanding 5R management. “‘I hope all the participants here can develop themselves as a foundation for understanding 5R management and apply this management knowledge in their respective work areas,”‘ said Dedi.
The training, intended for all HUMI employees, responds to the growing need for the importance of 5R management. The 5R activities can be carried out daily, creating a safe, comfortable, and orderly working environment for employees.
“‘Awareness of 5R must continue to be promoted to help us, the employees, work in an office free from hazards, risks, and consequences that might occur. For example, cables that are not properly arranged can cause tripping or even short circuits,”‘ said Okty Saptarini, HUMI Corporate Secretary, responsible for a series of HUMI IHT topics.
HUMI is committed to continuously improving the soft skills of its employees. “‘After this event, employees are targeted to implement 5R management: Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain with a reward and punishment system in place,”‘ added Dedi.
“‘To the Human Capital Department, under the responsibility of the Corporate Secretary, please remain consistent in creating IHT program agendas with other materials so that employees can continuously upgrade their skills,”‘ said Dedi.
