Carving Smiles in the Twilight of Life: HUMI Group Closes 2025 with Warmth at Tresna Werdha Social Home

JAKARTA, December 23, 2025 – As the year-end approaches, the big family of PT Humpuss Maritim Internasional Tbk (HUMI) and its subsidiaries reached out to those in the twilight of their lives, bringing warmth, attention, and a simple sense of gratitude. Through the BERSAMA humanitarian program (BERbagi untuk seSAMA – Sharing for Others) at the end of the year, the HUMI Group visited the Tresna Werdha Budi Mulia 1 Social Home in Cipayung to close 2025 with full hearts.

The arrival of the HUMI team was greeted with sincere smiles. The Director of OTS Internasional, Taufik Agustono, representing HUMI Group management, stated that the company’s success is not solely reflected in business achievements, but in how much its presence brings meaning to others. According to him, the BERSAMA program is a manifestation of HUMI Group’s commitment to continue sharing, being present, and fostering social care as an inseparable part of the company’s journey.

A warm atmosphere was also felt from the welcome speech by the Head of the Tresna Werdha Budi Mulia 1 Social Home, Agus Trijono, who expressed his appreciation for the attention given. “This visit provides great benefits for us so that we can improve our services for the grandpas and grandmas (opa and oma) here. In this facility, we care for independent elderly, elderly who require intensive care, and even those with mental health conditions. With attention through donations and visits like this, we can not only improve existing facilities but also ensure the residents feel entertained,” he explained. The presence of guests, the jokes shared, and the care felt served as a special form of entertainment and a source of strength for those spending their days there.

The emotional atmosphere turned joyful as laughter erupted during a session of singing and dancing together. The grandpas and grandmas took turns singing their favorite songs, accompanied by dancing and singing from HUMI employees. This activity served as a moment of self-reflection for everyone in the HUMI Group. Through personal interaction with the home’s residents, the company hopes to instill deep values of empathy across every line of the organization. Behind resilient maritime operations, there lies a soft and beneficial social commitment.

VP of Corporate Secretary of HUMI, Okty Saptarini, as the person in charge of the program, stated, “Today, with full respect and love, we are here to greet the Opa and Oma as our own parents. Our presence is a sincere expression of gratitude for all the love, sacrifice, and prayers that have accompanied our life journeys and the many generations after us.”

As the turn of the year approaches, the HUMI Group returned home with warm hearts. They left behind not only material aid but also memories, laughter, and a renewed spirit. At the Tresna Werdha Budi Mulia 1 Social Home, those smiles became a sweet closing to 2025—a reminder that sharing, no matter how small, always has the power to strengthen. The Opa and Oma left a message as they parted with the team: “See you again, children; come here often.” We looked back at them, with tears welling in the corners of our eyes.
