Reliable and professional maritime personnel are needed to support maritime activities. PT Humpuss Maritim Internasional (HUMI) is also committed to the effort to produce reliable maritime workers.
This effort is reflected by HUMI by presenting a training and marine center called the Humpuss Trilogy Maritime Training Center or HTMTC. Cooperation with Trilogy University through its subsidiary, PT ETSI Hutama Maritim (ETSI).
As reported on the official HTMTC website on the humpusstrilogi.com domain, HTMTC has a strategic function in presenting reliable human resources in the marine sector.
“HTMTC is a marine training institution that is committed to developing human resources in the marine sector to meet the special skills needs of seafarers in the shipping industry,” explained the HTMTC website.

Through this collaboration, HUMI presents a variety of training programs and certification of crew members needed for prospective seafarers. These programs include Basic Training for Oil and Chemical Tankers (BOCT), Advanced Liquified Gas Tanker (ALGT) to Security Awareness for Training for All Seafarers (SAT).
“A number of training services aim to produce quality maritime human resources targeting seafarers or prospective sailors who will serve on tankers transporting energy raw materials, including liquefied natural gas or LNG ships,” said ETSI Director Johan Novitrian.
The energy carrier itself is known as a ship that has a high operational complexity compared to other ships. The presence of HTMTC is also a sign that the company is a pioneer in providing training and marine facilities.
Until 2021, the number of certifications that have been issued by HTMTC to improve maritime human resources is 4,985. That number has increased compared to the number of certifications that have been issued by HTC in 2020 as many as 2,396.
