Develop Indonesian Maritime Human Resources, MCS International (MCSI) and ETSI Hutama Maritim (ETSI) to Release Competent Crews

MCSI and ETSI Commitment to Maritime Human Resources

The business entities of the Humpuss Intermoda Group, namely PT MCS Internasional (MCSI) and PT ETSI Hutama Maritim (ETSI) are highly committed to the development of human resources in the country’s maritime sector. This is reflected in the concrete steps of MCSI and ETSI which always produce reliable and quality Indonesian crew members.

MCSI as the provider of the crew and ETSI make efforts to develop the competence of the crew through training and marine programs that are run by presenting a marine center called the Humpuss Trilogy Maritime Training Center (HTMTC).

“‘We are working with the Trilogy University Jakarta to present a training and marine center called HTMTC which has officially been operating since March 11, 2016,”‘ said ETSI Director Johan Novitrian, who is also MCSI Director.

To date, all crew members provided by MCSI have met a series of competency standards issued by the International Maritime Organization (IMO). As the crew of MCSI dropouts who are placed to operate the GTSI fleet, it is ensured that they have complied with the Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping (STCW).

For information, the HTMTC marine and training center managed through ETSI presents various training programs and seafarers’ certification that are included in the certificate of skill classification or Certificate of Proficiency (COP).

Certifications with this type of COP include Basic Training for Oil and Chemical Tanker Cargo Operations (BOCT), Basic Training for Liquified Gas Tanker Cargo Operations (BLGT), to Crisis Management and Human Behavior Training (CMHBT).
