JAKARTA – PT MCS Internasional (MCSI), a subsidiary of PT Humpuss Maritim Internasional Tbk. (HUMI), and Mitsui OSK Lines Ltd. (MOL) announced the formation of a new joint venture company, PT McMOL Crewing International, on August 21, 2023, to bring new synergies in the crew supply industry, particularly for LNG vessels.

“‘The main goal of the partnership is to create added value for customers and accelerate business growth through the combination of the resources, knowledge, and expertise of both companies,”‘ stated Tirta Hidayat, President Director of HUMI.

The joint venture will focus on growing the provision of competent crew for LNG vessels, particularly for both MOL Group and HUMI Group, and will handle all activities related to LNG vessel crewing agency services.

“‘We believe that this collaborative approach will benefit all of our stakeholders in the long run,”‘ Tirta added.
