Jakarta, February 11, 2025 – PT Humpuss Maritim Internasional Tbk (HUMI) once again demonstrated its commitment to strengthening its culture of compliance and corporate governance by holding In-House Training (IHT) VIBES#1 with the theme “Preparation for Internal Audit ISO 37301:2021 – Compliance Management System.” The full-day event took place at HUMI’s Head Office, attended by dozens of HUMI employees, to prepare them for conducting cross-divisional internal audits.
This training is part of the IHT-VIBES Series (Values in Behaviour, Ethics and Synergy program Series), a strategic HUMI initiative to develop competent, adaptive human resources with a high awareness of the importance of integrity and adherence to the company’s values. ISO 37301:2021 is an international standard that provides systematic guidance for designing, implementing, and evaluating compliance management systems in organizations.
The training was opened by HUMI Director, Mr. Dedi Hudayana, who emphasized the fundamental importance of ISO for HUMI. “We appreciate the organization of this first IHT in 2025. This training is a strategic step to enhance employee competence so that the company can continue to grow and compete in the maritime industry,” said Mr. Dedi Hudayana.
“We believe that compliance is not just an obligation but a fundamental foundation for building a sustainable company. Through this training, we aim to strengthen our internal readiness for the ISO 37301 audit, while also instilling the awareness that good governance starts with the individual,” Mr. Dedi added.
The training featured an expert speaker, Mr. Iman Mujib Ahmad Natakusumah, who delivered comprehensive and interactive material. Participants showed remarkable proactivity and enthusiasm throughout the training, reflecting HUMI’s commitment to enhancing employee competence, which is expected to have a tangible impact on the company’s growth.
The spirit of this internal audit is to provide constructive feedback to each other, so that every division can improve and enhance its performance. Internal audit is not about finding faults, but a means for continuous improvement.
“This activity not only prepares our team for formal audits but also strengthens the culture of transparency and responsibility across all company lines,” said Okty Saptarini M., VP of Corporate Secretary at HUMI, who was responsible for organizing the IHT at HUMI Group.
HUMI is committed to continuously improving the quality of its human resources and implementing international standards in every aspect of its operational activities. Through this training, HUMI hopes to create a more efficient, effective, and internationally compliant work environment.
