HUMI Group Strengthens Business Foundations with ISO: 31000 Risk Training

JAKARTA, April 13, 2026 – As part of a steadfast commitment to building a sustainable corporate culture, HUMI Group recently conducted an intensive In-House Training (IHT) session titled “Awareness of ISO 31000:2018 Risk Management System.” The program underscores the Group’s proactive approach to navigating an increasingly complex global business landscape.

Mr. Indra Yurana, Director of HUMI Group, in his opening speech, highlighted that a strong risk management framework is not merely a compliance requirement but a fundamental pillar for maintaining consistent performance. “Implementing risk management is our foundation for ensuring long-term business sustainability,” stated Mr. Yurana. “It allows us to protect our assets and our people while driving growth in a controlled, strategic manner.”

Furthering the strategic depth of the training, Mr. Mahdan, President Commissioner of HUMI Group, delivered a keynote presentation on the intersection of risk and governance. He emphasized how the ISO 31000:2018 framework supports sound decision-making and reinforces the principles of Good Corporate Governance (GCG) throughout the organization.

Strengthening the Framework
The training focused on the three core pillars of the ISO 31000:2018 standard: Principles, Framework, and Process. By adopting these international benchmarks, HUMI Group aims to:
• Enhance Risk Awareness: Equipping personnel at all levels to identify potential threats and opportunities.
• Structured Analysis: Utilizing standardized methodologies to analyze and evaluate risks across all operational activities.
• Proactive Mitigation: Shifting from a reactive stance to a proactive culture that manages risks before they impact the business.

To ensure the highest quality of instruction, the IHT was conducted in collaboration with Bureau Veritas, a market leader in testing, inspection, and certification services. This partnership provided participants with expert insights and practical tools to apply the ISO framework to HUMI Group’s specific operational needs.
Through this initiative, HUMI Group continues to empower its workforce, ensuring that every team member is equipped to contribute to the company’s resilience and long-term strategic success.
