Jakarta, February 17, 2025 – PT Humpuss Maritim Internasional Tbk (HUMI) continues to strengthen its foundation of an excellent work culture as a key to long-term growth by conducting its In-House Training (IHT) VIBES#2. The event, themed “HUMI Values, Our Power for Sustainable Growth,” took place on February 17, 2025. This activity is part of the VIBES Series (Values in Behaviour, Ethics and Synergy program Series), which focuses on developing competitive HUMI human resources ready to face global business challenges.
Held at Tiara Ballroom, Artotel Mangkuluhur Suites, the training was attended by all HUMI Group Directors and employees, totaling 200 participants from various work units and subsidiaries. Its primary goal was to instill an awareness of the company’s core values. The series of activities aims to create “agents of change” who can drive transformation within their respective work environments.
This training marks a crucial point in HUMI’s human resource development efforts. The objective is to achieve sustained performance through the formation of a “winning culture.” With this culture, every individual at HUMI is expected to become an effective leader and person, understanding their role and contribution to the company in alignment with HUMI’s values.
HUMI President Director, Tirta Hidayat, expressed his appreciation for the initiative. He hoped that all employees would actively participate. “We believe that every employee has an important role and vital contribution to the company’s growth process. This training is designed to ensure all employees understand the company’s values and can implement them in their daily work, regardless of their specific role,” he explained.
“Work culture isn’t just about values written on office walls; it’s about how those values come alive in daily actions. Through this IHT-VIBES #2, we aim to build a champion culture that fosters collaboration, innovation, and a spirit of growing together,” Mr. Tirta added.
The training sessions utilized interactive methods. Beyond one-way material delivery, there were dialogues and games that facilitated interaction among employees. Speakers also helped translate the relevance of these interactions to HUMI’s values. The game sessions made the material more engaging and easier for all participants to grasp.
As a closing activity, each employee was asked to write down a personal commitment to implement in their daily work. This commitment is intended to serve as a reminder for individuals in fulfilling their duties and responsibilities, and to contribute to the company’s growth.
“In 2025, the internalization of values to produce ‘culture leaders’ at various organizational levels will be the focus of the human capital department’s program. These ‘agents of change’ are the sparks of transformation, spreading positive energy and aligning actions with HUMI’s values,” said Okty Saptarini M., VP of Corporate Secretary, who was responsible for this event.
IHT-VIBES #2 is an integral part of HUMI’s transformation roadmap to build a resilient, adaptive, and sustainability-oriented learning organization. HUMI believes that a well-internalized superior culture will drive performance, loyalty, and long-term competitiveness.
