Jakarta, October 24, 2025 – The atmosphere in the 27th-floor sharing room of Mangkuluhur City Tower One felt different that morning. Employees of PT Humpuss Maritim Internasional Tbk. (HUMI) looked enthusiastic participating in the IHT-XPERT#3: The A to Z Flagship Program Sustainability HUMI session. More than just a sharing session, this activity served as a joint learning space to deeply understand the company’s direction and strategy for sustainability — part of HUMI’s commitment to strengthening its Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) practices.
For HUMI, sustainability is not just jargon. It has become the foundation of its business strategy and the company’s direction toward a greener and more responsible future. Through this IHT-XPERT #3, all HUMI personnel were invited to fully understand the main pillars and the five flagship sustainability programs that are the company’s focus for the next five years.
HUMI’s VP of Corporate Secretary, Okty Saptarini M, stated that this socialization aims to remind and ensure employees have a common understanding of ESG and its implementation within the company. “If we talk about ESG, the programs can be very broad, so employees must truly understand the company’s priorities regarding ESG so that implementation is more focused,” said Okty.
Sustainability programs are no longer just a trend but are at the core of HUMI’s long-term business strategy. Through IHT-XPERT#3, the company wants to ensure all HUMI personnel comprehensively understand every pillar and main initiative of our sustainability program. This is a crucial step in realizing the vision of #HUMIUntukMasaDepan that is greener and more responsible.
The main points delivered by Yudiscita A. Fatommy, Jr. AVP of Sustainability HUMI, included:
- HUMI’s Sustainability Vision and Mission and HUMI’s ESG strategy for the next 5 years.
- In-depth discussion on the main ESG pillars that are HUMI’s focus, as listed in the 5 flagship programs and 9 material topics.
- Identification of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and operational steps that must be taken by each department to support the program.
The sharing session is the beginning of a broader movement. HUMI’s Sustainability Department is committed to continuing this socialization in stages to all subsidiaries. The hope is that the value of sustainability can truly be internalized — becoming part of HUMI’s way of thinking, way of working, and way of growing.
Through IHT-XPERT#3, HUMI affirms one thing: sustainability is a shared journey. A real step to realize a more sustainable and responsible #HUMIUntukMasaDepan for all stakeholders.
