HUMI Shares Joy with Child Cancer Fighters at YKAKI to Celebrate National Children’s Day

Jakarta, July 23, 2025 – In the spirit of National Children’s Day, PT Humpuss Maritim Internasional Tbk (HUMI), along with its subsidiaries, visited the Indonesian Childhood Cancer Foundation (YKAKI) in Jakarta on July 23. This visit is part of the routine “BERSAMA (BERbagi untuk seSAMA – Sharing for Others)” monthly activity, an initiative driven by HUMI Group employees as part of the company’s social responsibility.

The event began with a welcoming speech from Mr. Abdullah, a YKAKI board member, who expressed his appreciation for the HUMI Group’s care. “We thank the HUMI Group for your presence and contribution. Because of your generosity, we can continue to provide services to child cancer fighters who come from various regions and backgrounds,” he stated. He also educated attendees about childhood cancer and urged parents to be more vigilant about early signs of the disease.

The agenda at YKAKI was filled with joy and warm interactions. The children were exposed to a magic show that brought much laughter. Additionally, they were invited to participate in a bulletin board craft activity, which fostered creativity and togetherness.

Okty Saptarini, VP of Corporate Secretary at HUMI, said, “We hope this BERSAMA activity can bring happiness and encouragement to the child cancer fighters at YKAKI. Seeing their smiles brings us joy. We are committed to consistently continuing our social care activities.”

The BERSAMA activity is a tangible manifestation of HUMI’s corporate values, aiming to create a positive and meaningful impact on society, especially for those in need. HUMI believes that every child deserves happiness and support, particularly during challenging times.
