Humpuss Maritim Adds to its Fleet: LPG Vessel ‘Hummingbird

Jakarta, November 4, 2025 – In an effort to strengthen its role as an integrated maritime service provider in the energy sector, PT Humpuss Maritim Internasional Tbk (HUMI), through its subsidiary, PT PCS Internasional (PCSI), officially added a new vessel to its fleet, the LPG Vessel Hummingbird. This vessel symbolizes HUMI’s expansion of its energy logistics capacity and reaffirms the company’s commitment to business practices for sustainable growth.

HUMI’s President Director, Tirta Hidayat, welcomed the addition of this vessel. “The addition of the Hummingbird Vessel underscores HUMI’s commitment to continue investing not only to expand our operational capacity, but also our commitment to providing reliable gas transportation services and supporting the needs and growth of the national energy sector,” he stated.

The Hummingbird Vessel is an LPG tanker with a capacity of 3,815 DWT specially designed to transport various types of LPG Mix, including Propane, Butane, Propylene, Butadiene, Isoprene, and C4 Raffinate. This vessel is ready to serve domestic routes, strengthening the energy supply chain.

More than just an asset addition, Hummingbird reflects HUMI’s commitment to integrating Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles into operational aspects, where the vessel has been equipped with environmentally friendly systems and devices, including:

  • Ballast Water Treatment System to prevent pollution of the marine ecosystem,
  • IHM Database Onboard to ensure monitoring of hazardous materials on board,
  • Sewage Treatment Plant Fitted which supports high-standard sanitation, and
  • Energy Efficiency Existing Ship Index (EEXI) which signifies energy efficiency in accordance with global regulations.

“The joining of Hummingbird aligns with HUMI’s commitment to sustainable and environmentally friendly business practices,” Tirta continued.

HUMI targets the addition of 10 vessels throughout 2025 with a Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) value of USD 39,570,000. With the joining of Hummingbird, HUMI has so far acquired 8 vessels, including Mac Singapore, Marlin 88, Trans Pacific 201, 2 Self Propelled Hopper Barge (SPHB) vessels, Jeneponto 01, and LNGC Danaputri 1, with a total CAPEX absorption reaching 134%, or USD 53,146,708.

“The addition of 8 vessels with CAPEX absorption reaching 134% is in line with the expansion strategy focused on increasing productivity and diversifying the business portfolio,” Tirta concluded.

The Hummingbird Vessel will further strengthen the position of PT PCS Internasional as a key player in maritime transportation services for gas commodities, in line with HUMI’s vision to become a leading maritime company that prioritizes connectivity and sustainability.
