Jakarta, July 22, 2025 – As part of its commitment to building an adaptive, integrity, and sustainable organization, PT Humpuss Maritim Internasional Tbk (HUMI) organized a series of training sessions aimed at internalizing HUMI’s values, titled “HUMI Values Our Power for A Sustainable Growth.” The training is designed to create a “winning culture” and is divided into various stages, involving every job level with different roles and responsibilities.
Culture Sponsor Program
As a foundation for the strategic involvement of HUMI Group’s Board of Commissioners and Directors through their roles as Culture Sponsors, an orientation was provided on July 4, 2025, in Bogor. Culture Sponsors not only provide strategic direction but also directly participate in various cultural internalization activities, ranging from training and cross-functional discussions to open dialogues with employees at various levels. This active presence demonstrates that commitment to culture is not
solely the responsibility of the Human Capital team, but a collective responsibility, starting from the top leadership.
President Director of HUMI, Tirta Hidayat, explained that the commitment of the Board of Directors and Board of Commissioners is the foundation for the successful internalization of HUMI’s values. “The initiative to internalize HUMI’s values is not just a program; it is our collective commitment for the company’s continued sustainable growth. I hope that all members of the Board of Commissioners and Directors can fully support this program so that HUMI’s values truly become ingrained and become part of how we think and act,” said Tirta.
This program strengthens the company’s cultural initiatives by placing the Board of Commissioners and Directors at the forefront of cultural internalization. “We want to show that an excellent culture is a strategic priority, not just an incidental agenda,” Tirta added.
Culture Leader Program
Continuing the commitment of the Culture Sponsors, HUMI officially appointed Board 1 and Board-2 level personnel as Culture Leaders. These individuals are deemed to have direct proximity to daily operations and serve as role models for their teams. By positioning them as key agents of cultural change, HUMI hopes that the company’s core values can be genuinely brought to life in daily work practices—not just as jargon, but as consistent behavior.
Director of HUMI, Dedi Hudayana, emphasized at the opening of the training on July 11-12, 2025, in Bogor, that culture internalization is a crucial long-term investment for the company’s sustainable growth. “We believe that a strong corporate culture is the main foundation for achieving optimal performance. This training is a strategic first step, and we hope that each stage can run smoothly so that every employee can fulfill their role optimally and apply HUMI’s values well,” said Dedi.
With the involvement of the Culture Leaders, HUMI wants to ensure that the spirit of culture not only thrives at the center but also takes root across all operational lines, including vessels, headquarters, and subsidiaries. This step reaffirms HUMI’s commitment to systematically building an excellent culture, from top management as Culture Sponsors, to middle management as Culture Leaders, and selected employees as Change Agents. With this solid cultural synergy, HUMI continues to move forward to become a strong, trusted, and sustainably growing national maritime company.
“The next stage will involve training for Change Agents, who play an important role in initiating and developing internalization programs as well as driving change in the company’s culture. The Change Agent program will be held next month, bringing together 45 Change Agents from the HUMI Group in a Boot Camp,” said Okty Saptarini M., VP of Corporate Secretary HUMI, who is responsible for HUMI Group’s IHT.
“This series of value internalization, facilitated by Dunamis Organization, is the initial step in a series of programs to strengthen HUMI’s work culture that will reach all levels within the HUMI Group, in line with the company’s vision to build a maritime ecosystem solution,” Okty stated.
“Through strengthening the capabilities of value-based leaders, we are optimistic that we can create a work environment that is not only productive and professional but also reflects a strong and resilient character in every individual, to support HUMI’s business growth going forward,” Okty added.
