HUMI Prioritizes Safety in Maritime Operations

PT Humpuss Maritim Internasional (HUMI) which controls the integrated maritime services segment, Humpuss Intermoda prioritizes safety aspects in every operational activity.

HUMI’s commitment to safety is reflected through various world-class operational standards implemented by management, ranging from Occupational Health and Safety (K3), OHSAS 18001:2018 to ISO 45001:2018.

To minimize risks in operations, HUMI ​​periodically evaluates the monitoring results and analyzes them, and improves the quality of health management.

The management of the company’s own K3 principles is under the responsibility of QHSE led by the HSE Division. As a concrete form of efforts to prioritize safety aspects, QHSE periodically programs various education related to K3.

Among the socialization agendas carried out by the HSE Division to employees, for example by conducting fire or earthquake training simulations and simulating procedures for using personal protective equipment (PPE) in operational activities properly and correctly.

Various efforts to strengthen safety aspects by Humpuss Intermoda aim to achieve the title of zero accident or zero accidents at work. In 2021, the company again won the Zero Accident from PT Nusantara Regas.
