PT Humpuss Maritim Internasional (HUMI) visited several principals in the Land of the Rising Sun, Japan. The visit which took place from 9 to 11 November 2022 was led by the Main Director of HUMI ​​Tirta Hidayat.

As stated by Tirta in a press statement, the visit made by the Company aims one of which is to increase the potential for cooperation, both those that are currently established and those that will be carried out in the future.

“‘The visit we made to several principals in Japan aims to strengthen the cooperation that is currently underway. The company also openly continues to explore the potential for other collaborations that will be carried out with principals,”‘ explained Tirta.

Some of the principals visited in the agenda included Mitsui OSK Lines, Ltd (MOL), Asahi Tanker Co., Ltd. (Asahi Tanker), SoJitz Corporation (SoJitz), LNG Japan Corporations and PPT Energy Trading Co. Ltd.

For information, the collaboration between MOL and Asahi Tanker has been going on for a long time to develop LNG (Liquified Natural Gas) vessels as well as support services for shipping other energy commodities.

“‘The cooperation carried out by the Company with principals covers various lines, starting from the development of LNG vessels, the development of educational and maritime facilities for HTMTC (Humpuss Trilogy Maritime Training Center),”‘ added Tirta.

Other projects carried out by the Humpuss Intermoda Group with other principals include the development of the Java Satu floating storage and regasification unit, aka FSRU (Floating Storage and Regasification Unit). The project involves MOL as part of a consortium from the management of the Jawa Satu FSRU, namely PT Jawa Satu Regas (JSR).

The visit to the principals at the end of 2022 was also attended by the management of other HUMI ​​subsidiaries, Dandun Widodo Director of PT GTS Internasional Tbk (GTSI) and Johan Novitrian Director of PT MCS Internasional (MCSI).
