Jakarta, August 16th 2024 – PT Humpuss Maritim Internasional Tbk. (HUMI) held a series of special events titled “Sele8rasi 8ersama HUMI (Joy of Independence, Collaboration & Creativity Reviving the Spirit of Indonesia)” at the HUMI office area on August 16, 2024. These events were organized to commemorate the 79th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia and involved the Board of Commissioners, Directors, and employees of HUMI with great enthusiasm.

Various typical 17th of August activities and competitions were creatively prepared. Employees from various divisions competed to showcase their spirit and solidarity through a range of activities designed to strengthen unity and instill the spirit of independence. The atmosphere transformed into a sea of red and white, filled with joy and laughter from the participants who joined the activities.

In his speech, Tirta Hidayat, President Director of HUMI, expressed his pride in the employees’ enthusiasm year after year. “This event is very important to foster a sense of togetherness and team unity, as well as providing an enjoyable form of entertainment for all employees,” Tirta said. Moreover, he highlighted the importance of always remembering the struggle of the heroes in achieving independence, which can be compared to the employees’ efforts in facing challenges in the workplace.

“Sele8rasi is not just about having fun; the activities are designed to nurture a sense of unity and togetherness among the employees, as seen in their creations to decorate workspaces and showcase fresh ideas,” said Okty Saptarini, VP of Corporate Secretary HUMI. Every corner of the room was filled with creative works reflecting patriotism and a strong fighting spirit, creating an atmosphere brimming with positive energy.

Tirta Hidayat also added that this year’s celebration theme, which combines the spirit of independence with collaboration and creativity, reflects the values HUMI holds dear. This spirit is hoped to drive HUMI forward and continue to grow, with the employees as the driving force.

“With the same spirit, we hope this event becomes an increasingly vibrant annual tradition, bringing positive energy and a sense of unity that never fades,” Okty added.

The day’s activities ended with joy from all participants. HUMI succeeded in bringing an Independence Day atmosphere that was not only festive but also meaningful, reminding us all that every small step we take together can lead to significant changes, much like the struggle of the nation’s heroes.
