Energy infrastructure distribution company and port ecosystem PT Humpuss Maritim Internasional (HUMI) held Awareness The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) training on Thursday, September 1, 2022.
This training aims to increase awareness of the importance of Quality Management, Occupational Health & Safety (K3L) certification and corporate governance in upholding sustainability aspects. This activity was attended by 30 people representing each division and department in HUMI.
“This event aims to build and at the same time increase the understanding of all divisions and departments at HUMI on the importance of implementing national and international quality standards such as K3 (Occupational Health and Safety), quality management, to the environment and anti-bribery,” said HUMI’s President Director Dedi Hudayana in training event.
Several international standards discussed at the event included ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management, ISO 45001:2018 Health and Safety, ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management and ISO 37001:2016 Anti Bribery.

Dedi said that a number of international standards on corporate governance have become the Company’s commitment in an effort to present a sustainable and beneficial business for stakeholders.
“The joint plans and commitments discussed in this ISO awareness training will soon be implemented by HUMI in order to provide the maximum benefit for employees, companies and stakeholders,” added Dedi.
Furthermore, Dedi gave an example of the importance of one of the corporate governance standards which is currently the focus of HUMI in maintaining sustainable business relationships with stakeholders.
“For example, ISO 37001:2016 Anti-Bribery which is an anti-bribery management system that is useful for maintaining company integrity and supporting sustainable business relationships between HUMI and stakeholders,” he explained.
