PT GTS Internasional Tbk (GTSI) Accelerates Fleet Expansion with New Vessel Acquisition! Strengthening National LNG Fleet and Driving Clean Energy Transition

Jakarta, October 14, 2025 — PT GTS Internasional Tbk (GTSI), part of the Humpuss Group, reaffirms its aggressive transformation and expansion efforts in the national energy shipping industry by adding a new LNG Carrier (LNGC) vessel unit. This move is part of GTSI’s mid-term growth strategy to bolster its fleet capacity, capture increasing domestic and regional LNG market opportunities, and strengthen its role in supporting the national clean energy transition agenda.

New Vessel, New Opportunities, Sustainable Growth

President Director of PT GTS Internasional Tbk, I Gusti Ngurah Askhara Danadiputra (Ari Askhara), emphasized that the addition of the new vessel is not merely an asset expansion but a strategic step aligned with the promising growth trajectory of the energy and LNG transportation industry.

“This is more than just adding a ship; it is a tactical move to capture new business opportunities in the domestic and regional LNG sector. The demand for clean energy continues to rise, and GTSI responds with a measured strategy, solid financial fundamentals, and a long-term vision to reinforce Indonesia’s position in Southeast Asia’s clean energy supply chain,” said Ari Askhara.

According to Ari, GTSI targets to acquire one new vessel this year and two additional vessels in 2026 to meet the surge in demand for LNG transportation services, which is growing rapidly in both the domestic and regional markets.

“This fleet expansion is supported by the company’s healthy fundamentals, continuous double-digit profit growth, and a significant increase in stock value since early 2025. We aim to ensure that GTSI not only grows but also transforms into a regional-class clean energy company,” he added.

Professional Management, A New Direction for Transformation

Since April 2025, under the leadership of a new Board of Directors composed of internationally experienced professionals, GTSI has undertaken a series of measured transformation steps—ranging from operational efficiency, vessel management digitalization, to profitability-based business restructuring, strengthening the company in mid-stream LNG, and entering the downstream LNG business, which is planned to commence this year as well.

The results are becoming clearly visible through improved profit margins, fleet productivity, and investor confidence, reflected in the positive trend of GTSI’s stock performance throughout 2025.

“Professional leadership serves as a crucial foundation in elevating GTSI’s status. We are committed to implementing good corporate governance (GCG), continuous efficiency, and measured expansion to ensure healthy long-term growth,” Ari explained.

Supporting Energy Transition & Net Zero Emission 2060 Mission

As part of the Humpuss Group, GTSI plays a vital role in the national energy supply chain, particularly in the LNG transport sector. This fleet expansion is a tangible contribution to supporting the Government’s agenda towards Indonesia Net Zero Emission 2060, by strengthening the clean energy transportation infrastructure from upstream to downstream.

“We believe Indonesia’s energy future lies in the sea—and GTSI is ready to be a key part of that journey,” concluded Ari Askhara.
