PT Humpuss Maritim Internasional (HUMI) is a subsidiary of the shipping issuer Humpuss Intermoda Transport Tbk (HITS) which has business fields of distribution and energy infrastructure to an integrated port ecosystem.

One of the business units owned by HUMI’s subsidiary is to manage and train crew assigned to a number of fleets under the Humpuss Intermoda Group and is also intended for other partner principals, currently there are 12 principals.

The business unit is run by HUMI ​​through its subsidiary PT MCS Internasional (MCSI) which is responsible for bringing reliable and quality local maritime personnel, all of whom are Indonesian children.

As part of that effort, the Company implements a series of strict procedures in the process of recruiting prospective seafarers who will be assigned under the control of HUMI. The following is the flow of the crew recruitment process carried out by HUMI:

1. Request from Replacement Team
In the first stage, the Replacement Team will submit a request for prospective crew members who want to be recruited based on needs.

2. Request forwarded to Recruitment Team
Requests from the Replacement Team are forwarded to the Recruitment Team to be ready for further processing.

3. CV Screening
The recruitment team then screens the CVs of candidates who have submitted their CVs and required personal data to their e-mail address, office or via Whatsapp.

4. Data Validation
After finding a candidate who would fit the required criteria, the recruitment team then validates the data and documents of the candidates.

5. Recruitment Team Contacting Candidates
After the candidate’s personal data and documents are declared valid, the recruitment team will contact the candidate to inform them of what steps must be taken next.

6. Interview and Test
Furthermore, the candidates will be interviewed by the recruitment team and conduct the next test, namely CBT (Computer Based Test).

7. Candidate Passed
After following a rigorous process, candidates who meet the qualifications of various standards applied by HUMI ​​are declared passed and submitted to vendors.
