A series of Ramadan activities at PT Humpuss Maritim Internasional Tbk. (HUMI) served as a platform for employees to engage in acts of kindness and sharing. Carrying the theme “Unlocking The Happiness in Ramadan”, Ramadan was interpreted as a month that brings happiness from various aspects, such as closeness to Allah SWT, increased worship, togetherness with family, and sharing with others. Ramadan became a moment to enhance gratitude and empathy toward others.

HUMI President Director Tirta Hidayat explained, “We believe that balancing worldly and spiritual achievements is the key to improving employee productivity. Through this Ramadan program, we hope to spark employees’ enthusiasm to continue spreading kindness, become better individuals, and collectively bring tangible benefits to society.”

BUBARAN (BUka Bersama kARyawAN – Breaking the Fast Together with Employees) with the management became a moment of togetherness in a different atmosphere, featuring a renowned speaker from ESQ, Iman G Herdimansyah, who combined IQ, EQ, and SQ as a bond in the relationship between fellow humans and with the Creator. The event was enhanced with beautiful decorations and a photo booth to add to the excitement and festive Ramadan ambiance, and it was enthusiastically welcomed by all employees.

Every Monday and Wednesday, after congregational zuhr prayer, HUMI employees had the opportunity to attend KURMA (Kuliah RaMAdan – Ramadan Lectures) delivered by knowledgeable Islamic preachers through inspiring sermons on various themes. KURMA served as a spiritual oasis amid busy work routines, providing enlightenment and inner peace. Every Tuesday and Thursday afternoon, through the BERTANDING program (BERbagi TAKjil untuk oraNg Di sekelilING – Sharing Iftar Meals with Surrounding People), hundreds of iftar meals were distributed to passing motorists around the HUMI Group office areas in Mangkuluhur City and Granadi. This tangible action symbolized HUMI’s care for others and brought smiles to those observing the fast.

Through BERSAMA (BERbagi untuk seSAMA – Sharing with Others), HUMI also shared happiness with those in need by providing donations to orphans. As Eid al-Fitr approached, HUMI distributed special gift packages through the BERISI program (BERbagi bingkiSan Idul fitri – Sharing Eid Gift Packages). Additionally, the SEBAR UMAT program (SEdekah BAReng hari juMAT – Collective Friday Alms) enabled employees to give charity on the blessed day of Friday.

Through this series of Ramadan activities, HUMI proved that it is not only a national maritime company but also one that embodies the spirit of sharing and caring for others. This Ramadan program served as concrete evidence of HUMI’s commitment to supporting employees’ spiritual growth and making a positive contribution to the surrounding community. In collaboration with all subsidiaries, HUMI successfully created a meaningful wave of kindness.
